Job summary

Apollo, a Skyward Group company, is seeking a Compliance Manager to help ensure its Platform Partner Syndicates operate within governance and regulatory frameworks. You will advise on Lloyd's, FCA and PRA requirements, engage with syndicate leadership, and support onboarding and ongoing regulatory oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, risk, governance or regulatory roles in Lloyd's market, London Market, or regulated insurance environment.
• Knowledge of Lloyd's, FCA and PRA regulatory requirements and expectations.
• Understanding of conduct risk, financial crime, complaints, delegated authority and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Experience producing governance papers, MI or regulatory reporting.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Collaborative, pragmatic approach with sound judgement and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted compliance partner to platform partner syndicates, providing practical advice on Lloyd's, FCA, PRA and Apollo requirements.
• Build strong relationships with syndicate leadership teams and key stakeholders across underwriting, operations, governance, risk and legal.
• Support onboarding and launch of new platform partner syndicates, acting as a key compliance liaison with Lloyd's and regulatory bodies.
• Deliver compliance monitoring activities, including reviews, testing, reporting and tracking actions.
• Oversee delegated authority, conduct risk, financial crime, complaints, conflicts management, data protection and regulatory reporting.
• Produce governance papers, management information and reporting for boards and committees.
• Identify, investigate and resolve compliance issues, incidents and regulatory developments with escalation and remediation.
• Deliver training and guidance to stakeholders and contribute to the ongoing development of Apollo's platform partner compliance framework.
