Job summary

You will lead the transition to a cloud-native lakehouse on Azure Databricks, define Python-first standards, and keep Power BI reports sharp for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in BI or data engineering with end-to-end accountability.
• Advanced Power BI skills including complex model design, RLS, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on production experience with Azure Databricks and Python.
• Experience designing and owning core data models and semantic layers.

Responsibilities

• Own complex data products from model to report layer.
• Architect a cloud-native lakehouse on Azure Databricks with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Rationalise KPIs and enforce semantic-layer definitions.
• Govern and secure data access with robust security controls and documentation.
• Lead across functions by partnering with regional heads and sales/ops directors.
• Mentor engineers and build reusable data patterns and libraries.
