Job summary

Trust in SODA is seeking a Managing & Lead Platform Engineer to join a high-profile DevOps transformation for a UK Government project. You will lead ongoing support, optimise and scale the platform across multiple environments, and drive reliability and performance.

Requirements include leadership experience, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD (GitOps, Github Actions, Jenkins) and strong observability (OTel, Dynatrace, Grafana). Hybrid working and certification opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform engineering teams.
• Expertise in IaC, CI/CD, observability and cloud tooling.
• Proven ability to scale large environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing support, optimisation and scaling of the platform.

They are now looking for a Managing & Lead Platform Engineer to join their team and help with the ongoing support, optimisation and scaling of this project. Their ideal candidate would be an expert within:

• CI/CD (GitOps, Github Actions, Jenkins)
• Observability (OTel, Dynatrace, Grafana)
• Leadership / Line Management
