Job summary

Genesis AI is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, build, and sustain foundational AI tooling and frameworks in London. You will empower expert teams to turn ideas into production-ready systems with reusable components and robust workflows.

You will collaborate with engineers and researchers across disciplines, identify design flaws, and promote best practices through code reviews, documentation, and training, delivering high-quality software at scale.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining modular, reusable systems.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and researchers across fields.
• Ability to implement large-impact changes with minimal disruption.
• Experience building internal tooling to accelerate AI research and development workflows (debugging, evaluation, experiment tracking, CI).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain foundational frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with expert teams to validate use cases and build robust solutions.
• Identify and mitigate high-level code design flaws and workflow inefficiencies.
• Advocate for good practices and maintain high code quality through reviews, docs, and training.
