Job summary

Richmond Square Consulting Ltd seeks a Platform Engineer in Cheltenham, hybrid, with current DV/eDV clearance or willingness to obtain. The role spans cloud platforms, DevOps and security, delivering secure, scalable platforms with modern tooling.

You will design, implement, and automate cloud-native platforms and CI/CD pipelines while embedding security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms, Kubernetes and IaC.
• Solid CI/CD and DevSecOps experience across platforms.
• Background in platform engineering, container orchestration and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with security tooling and secure software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure cloud-native platforms.
• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning and workflows.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and IaC implementations.
• Work with Kubernetes/containerised environments and security embedded.
• Support DevSecOps practices and platform resilience.
• Collaborate with software, infrastructure and security teams to raise developer experience.
