Job summary

Clio is seeking a Platform Engineer, Azure Infrastructure, to join the Systems Engineering team in a remote role based in the United Kingdom. You will design, deploy and operate Azure infrastructure for production, drive Terraform-based IaC, and collaborate across teams to enhance CI/CD, observability, and security.

You’ll mentor colleagues, influence cloud patterns, and partner with Security, MLOps, and Product Engineering to deliver scalable, compliant systems.

Qualifications

• Deep experience designing, deploying, and operating Azure infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Coding foundation with app development or robust automation tooling.
• Familiarity with observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Proficiency in containerization and cluster management (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities, with a focus on knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
• A keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.

Responsibilities

A coding foundation, beyond scripting, with experience in application development or designing and building robust automation frameworks and tooling

Familiarity with observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

Proficiency in containerization and cluster management (Docker, Kubernetes)

Excellent communication and documentation abilities, with a focus on knowledge sharing and team collaboration

A keen interest in improving your craft by using AI

Serious bonus points if you have:

Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) in production environments

Understanding of Azure cost management, scaling, and multi-account strategies

Prior experience in developer productivity or internal tooling teams

The expected salary range for this role is £69,700 to £94,300 GBP. Initial placement within the range is informed by geographic region, experience, and skillset, with room to progress as impact and tenure grow. Final offer amounts will vary based on candidate profile.
