Overview

Platform Engineer — Taunton, Somerset | Permanent | Hybrid Working | Up to £60,000 dependent on experience

Our client are looking to onboard a Platform Engineer into their team on a permanent basis, you'll be instrumental in developing secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions while collaborating closely with software developers.

Responsibilities

The right candidate will be responsible for architecting and maintaining infrastructure that supports modern cloud-native applications, working hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and containerised environments.

Experience Required

• 3-5 years in software or infrastructure engineering
• Experience with IaC tools (especially Bicep, YAML)
• Familiar with Docker; Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
• Good understanding of cloud (preferably Azure)
