Job summary

Perk is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform team in a hybrid London-based setup. You will design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure in AWS, enabling product teams to ship quickly while maintaining reliability and security.

You’ll work with Terraform/Pulumi, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration to support developers. Strong English communication, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Experience with monitoring/observability (Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, ECS).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Enable development teams to own their systems and deliver high-impact products.
• Partner with SRE and security teams to improve resiliency and security of applications.
• Participate in on-call and incident management as part of a run-it-yourself culture.
