Job summary

Saragossa in London seeks a senior Cloud Platform Architect to design and build the Azure platform from scratch, including landing zones, security baseline and guardrails. Working directly with the CTO, the platform is yours to shape.

You will connect it all: ExpressRoute linking the office to the cloud, Private Link to SaaS services, and a separation between prod and non-prod with tight access controls. The Terraform estate will be designed your way, with state, modules and structure that stay

Get to join at the exact moment an investment firm decides to build its cloud platform from scratch.

No inherited mess, no decisions made before you arrived. You will design and build the Azure platform the whole firm runs on: the landing zones, the security baseline and the guardrails, all done properly from day one. Working directly with the CTO, the platform is yours to shape.

You will connect it all together. ExpressRoute linking the office to the cloud, Private Link out to the SaaS services the business depends on, and a network designed so that prod and non-prod stay separate, access is kept to what is needed, and if something does go wrong, the damage stays contained.

The Terraform estate gets designed your way. State, modules and structure are your call, built so the estate stays clean and under control as it grows rather than turning into something nobody wants to touch.

A growing data and AI platform, including Databricks, means working alongside data scientists and helping them move quickly without losing control of security, sensitive data or cost.

The technology team is small, senior and sits close to the business. Good ideas do not disappear into a backlog, and the standards you set now will shape how the firm uses cloud for years to come.

What you have built matters far more here than the certificates on your profile.

Salary: £180k base with attractive bonus
