Job summary

A recruitment firm for engineering in Sittingbourne is looking for Platers to work in a power station. Responsibilities include using oxyacetylene equipment for plate repairs, marking and cutting steel plate, and conducting MMA tack welding on mild steel. Qualifications

• Must possess a CCNSG card.
• Completed NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Experience of working on heavy industrial sites is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate.
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate.
• Performing plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs.
• Executing MMA tack welding on mild steel plate.
