Job summary

WPS, operating from a Wembley base and covering KT and TW areas, seeks a skilled Plasterer to deliver reactive maintenance and damp/mould remediation in social housing. You will perform plastering repairs, work independently or with a team, and complete daily worksheets while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2 in Plastering, with proven domestic plastering experience in maintenance or repair environments.

Responsibilities

WPS has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Plasterer to join our Responsive Maintenance division, operating from our Wembley base – covering postcode areas including KT and TW.

You'll be delivering high-quality reactive maintenance and damp & mould remediation services to our valued residents, helping to improve homes and living conditions across our social housing communities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out repairs associated with damp and mould treatment programmes, including preparation, reinstatement and making‑good plastering works following remedial actions.
• Ensuring all plastering work is completed to a high standard of finish and durability.
• Advising your Supervisor when additional specialist trades are required.
• Working independently or as part of a team with other operatives.
• Completing daily work sheets detailing tasks, time, and materials used.
• Maintaining productivity and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or a similar trade qualification.
• Proven experience in domestic plastering within maintenance or repair environments.
• Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship consistently.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
