Job summary

A reputable construction company in Woking is seeking a Plasterer for a temporary full-time position. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in plastering work and possess their own tools. Strong work ethic, health and safety awareness, and the ability to work well in a team are essential. This role involves plastering internal walls and may include preparation work. Pay rate ranges from £200 to £220 per hour, and the start date is ASAP.

Qualifications

• At least 2 references for drylining and plastering work.
• Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Conscious of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plaster internal walls with tape and skim.
• Conduct filling, making good, and preparation work as required.
• Arrive on time and complete tasks as allocated by the site manager.

Do currently work in Construction? Are you a Plasterer currently looking for work? Hold a valid CSCS card? If the answer is yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Woking area.

• Location: Woking
• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
• Start date: ASAP.
• Duration: Long term
• Pay rate: £200 - £220 per hour.

The company:

A well-established regional contractor who specialises in the medical centres, retail outlets and care homes.

The role:

Working as a Plaster you will be required to plaster internal walls. Will have to use tape, first coat and second coat of skim. There may be some filling, making good and preperation work involved prior to the skimming.

About you:

• You will have previous experience in the same role
• You will have your own tools including 110v.
• You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be wary of others who are working alongside them.
• You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• 2 References for previous Drylining and Plastering work you have completed for contractors.
• You will have a CSCS Ticket desirable but not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team,
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
