Qualifications

  • PhD in plasma physics or equivalent required.

  • Theoretical and experimental understanding of exhaust physics issues.

Responsibilities

  • Proposing and guiding/executing exhaust research on current tokamak devices.
  • Providing interpretative modelling of current tokamak devices and predictive modelling for future devices.
  • Interface between modelling and experimental teams to provide insight.
  • Proposing experiments and guiding research on devices such as ST-40 and MAST-U.
  • Disseminating results through conference presentations and peer-reviewed papers.
