Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic or fitter working on construction plant, agricultural or heavy commercial vehicles.
• Good understanding of hydraulic systems, diesel engines and mechanical transmissions.
• Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Undertake inspection, diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of plant equipment.
• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Order and manage replacement parts and consumables.
