Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a Plant Technician to maintain and repair our plant equipment to high standards. You will conduct inspections, service and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance or 2 years' engineering experience.
• Team player who supports colleagues.
• Self-motivated with flexible approach to work.
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Repair and pre-hire inspections of plant equipment.
• Maintain and service equipment to high standards.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
• Inspect equipment and ensure cleanliness and compliance.
• Keep equipment in safe, functional condition for customers.

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing Plant division? We are looking for a talented Plant Technician to join our team to ensure our plant equipment is maintained to the highest standard whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Equipment repair and pre hire inspections
• Maintenance of equipment
• Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
• Service and inspection of all equipment
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance

What are we looking for?

• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent) or 2 years’ evidence-based experience working within engineering
• Team player, supporting your colleagues
• Self-motivated and a flexible approach to the working environment
• A full UK driving license is advantageous
