Job summary

Tradebe in Glasgow is seeking a Plant Supervisor to lead the on-site operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality. You will oversee waste movements, monitor emissions where applicable, and coordinate with management to meet plant objectives.

The role requires experience in waste management, strong leadership and communication skills, plus a valid FLT licence. Competitive salary with pension and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• FLT licence holder.
• Experience in waste management and site operations.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient keyboard/IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all waste movements on site from receipt to treatment or transfer.
• Ensure site permits, emissions monitoring and compliance with regulator requirements.
• Lead maintenance and inspections per PPM schedules.
• Maximise plant throughput and coordinate with site manager in absence of plant manager.
• Maintain housekeeping and liaise with emergency services as needed.
