Job summary

StoneX Metals Limited in West Bromwich is seeking a production-focused employee to support the Shift Supervisor in producing silver from waste materials. You will participate in incineration through cupellation and help drive continuous improvement on-site.

The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced production environment, a proactive safety mindset, and willingness to train across multiple plant areas. This position is Full-time and involves hands-on industrial work on site.

Qualifications

Previous foundry experience would be advantageous.
Some knowledge / experience of working with molten metal.
Health, & Safety conscious and be willing to champion H&S on the shop floor.
FLT Certificate advantageous.

Responsibilities

Train and become competent in all aspects of production (Blast Furnace, Cupel, Rotary).
Assist in all aspects of production as required by the Supervisor.
General housekeeping duties.
Ensure the most effective and efficient running of all relevant plant.
Liaise with Supervisor and other Managers when required.
Be a site First Aider.
Ensure environmental and permit standards are adhered to at all times.
Report accidents & near misses.
Ensure health & safety procedures are adhered to and correct RPE/PPE is worn at all times.
Be willing to be a H&S representative & site champion.
