Job summary

BRUSH Group is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join the Scotland Operations team, delivering power infrastructure and civil works across Scotland. You will safely operate excavators, dumpers and telehandlers on live sites in rural locations, completing checks and maintaining records.

You must hold CPCS or NPORS plant qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and be willing to travel, stay away from home, and work overtime or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Relevant plant qualifications (CPCS/NPORS).
• Previous plant operating experience on civil engineering or utilities projects.
• Understanding of site safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and other plant.
• Complete daily checks and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Load, unload and handle plant, equipment and materials safely.
• Work in line with RAMS, safety requirements and environmental controls.
• Collaborate with managers and teams to complete works on time.
• Maintain plant records, timesheets and routine maintenance checks.
• Support general site activities when plant operations are not required.
