Job summary

Fusion People are currently recruiting a Plant Operator for a live water treatment site in Burghfield, Berkshire. You will operate plant equipment on-site, assist with trenching, muck-away and grading tasks while upholding strict health and safety standards.

Applicants must have prior site experience, hold a valid CPCS or NPORS card, and possess a Thames Water passport. Standard hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5pm, with a long-term position for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous site experience on water treatment or construction sites.
• CPCS or NPORS certification required.
• Thames Water passport or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches for drainage.
• Muck away and grading.
• Ensure H&S is strictly maintained.

Plant Operator

Start date – Monday 7th September 2026

£27 per hour CIS, £20 Per Hour PAYE

Burghfield, Berkshire

We are working on a large project in Burghfield, and we are looking for a plant operator to join the existing site team. Applicants must have previous site experience and hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Card. This is a long-term position for the right candidates. The site is a live water treatment plant so all applicants require a Thames water passport.

As a Plant operator your duties will involve.

• Digging trenches for drainage
• Muck away and grading
• Ensuring H&S is strictly maintained
• Any other associated duties

Standard Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5pm
