Hours:4on 4off days (start 6am or 7am) and nights (start 6pm or 7pm)
Role Type:Temp to perm
Hourly rate:£14.42 per hour per hour

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit X2 Plant Operators for a client based in Avonmouth, Bristol, BS10. As a Plant Operator, you willjoin a team where you will become a key and valued member providing assistance in the day to day operation of the plant for the receipt, treatment and disposal of clinical waste, so as to achieve maximum plant availability and productivity in accordance with company operational procedures and legislative obligations or requirements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Unloading of vehicles and trailers (site specific).
  • The effective manoeuvring of waste on the plant and weighing of containers.
  • To ensure that the waste containers are emptied, cleaned thoroughly and readily available in a suitable ‘empty’ storage area ready for collection.
  • To co-ordinate the paperwork and reception of all deliveries to the plant, including that of suppliers and contractors.
  • To oversee the safe handling into containers by the respective deliverer, in the event loose waste is delivered to the site
