As a Plant Operative you’ll be at the heart of maintaining and supporting the plant training areas at RSME Medway. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll operate a range of military and commercial vehicles and plant equipment directly contributing to the delivery of essential training for the UK’s defence sector. You’ll be part of a close‑knit team helping to ensure our training environments are safe functional and fit for purpose.
Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting bending using tools or standing for extended periods of time.
The role is based on site at RSME Brompton Barracks and the set working times are Monday to Thursday 7:30am 4:30pm Friday 7:30am 4:00pm totalling 37 hours per week.
D6 Dozer Operator Licence
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth nationality current or former citizenship and any residency you hold or have held.
