Job summary

Hireful is seeking a hands-on Plant Maintenance Engineer to support the Site Manager at our Rushden site in Northamptonshire. You’ll perform planned preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns and help maximise energy generation while keeping safety and environmental standards high.

You’ll be a qualified mechanical or electrical engineer with PLC knowledge, a full driving licence, and willingness to train, with day shifts initially before transitioning to nights.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanical or electrical engineer with relevant experience.
• Experience in process industries preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC controls, electronics, maintenance systems and cost control is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and support equipment overhauls.
• Help maximise energy generation while maintaining safety and environmental standards.
• Assist Site Manager in safe, reliable plant operations.
