A leading cement manufacturer is seeking a plant maintenance engineer at their Ipswich terminal. This full-time role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in a mechanical or electrical field, with skills in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a mechanical and/or electrical field.
• Proven success in a mechanical or electrical role.
• Evidence of planning and executing mechanical maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with safety regulations.
• Undertake mechanical maintenance work and perform breakdown repairs.
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist in documenting completed maintenance works.
• Supervise additional contractors working on site.

Skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Drivers license

Education

NVQ/City & Guilds qualification or similar
