Brackenberry Limited in Newport is recruiting a Plant Fitter on a 3‑month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension at the client’s discretion.

The role covers maintenance, inspection, repair and servicing of plant equipment and building services systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation and timely response to maintenance requests.

You will diagnose faults, plan and execute repairs, and work both independently and as part of a team to minimise downtime.

• Experience in plant fitting or building services maintenance.
• Good knowledge of mechanical plant and maintenance procedures.

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Newport to assist with the appointment of a Plant Fitter, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.

The Plant Fitter will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspection, repair, and servicing of plant equipment and building services systems. The role will involve ensuring that equipment operates safely and efficiently, responding to maintenance requests, diagnosing faults, and supporting the delivery of reliable building maintenance services.

Responsibilities
