Overview

Plant Operator – Cardiff

Pay: £19.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Job Type: Full-time

A well-established industrial operation in Cardiff is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Plant Operator to support all aspects of mobile and fixed plant maintenance and repair. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals with a strong mechanical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair of mobile and fixed plant equipment
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Operate plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
• Adhere to health & safety procedures and site regulations
