Plant Engineer (Training on Electrical)

Hythe, Hampshire

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (OTE £50,000-55,000). Workshop based with training on electrical fault‑finding and company benefits.

Work is primarily in a workshop, with occasional travel to customer sites within the local area. The role involves servicing and repairing heavy construction plant equipment such as excavators and bulldozers. 42‑hour work week with up to 4‑5 hours of optional overtime per week.

The Role

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining a fleet of heavy plant equipment.
• Working on excavators, bulldozers and agricultural equipment.
• Receiving training on electrical work.
• Primarily workshop based, with occasional travel to sites within the local area.

The Person

• Plant fitter, engineer or similar background.
