Plant Driver / Plant Operator / Telehandler Operator (Temp to Perm)

Pay: £12.21 raising to £13.00 / hour - weekly pay!

We are currently recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator on a temporary to permanent basis to join a busy and growing waste management operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual looking for long-term, stable employment within the waste and recycling sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on site
• Loading, unloading, and moving waste materials and recyclables
• Feeding waste into processing machinery as required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Adhering to all site health, safety, and environmental procedures

Requirements

• Valid or In-house Certificate Fork Lift or Telehandler licence (RTITB, CPCS, or NPORS)
• Previous experience operating a telehandler, is ideal, however experienced Fork Lift Operators to be considered!
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
