Job summary

Vertiv Campsie in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland, seeks a high-calibre Plant Manager to lead a 500+ person site, overseeing engineering, manufacturing, finance, EHS and quality while partnering with Letterkenny and Burnfoot facilities and global teams.

You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement, develop annual budgets, ensure safety and a union-free culture, and deliver excellence in quality, delivery, cost, and people.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
• 10-15 years of production management experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading a large manufacturing facility or major production operation.
• Demonstrated success in Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence.
• Ability to communicate effectively at senior executive level.
• Experience with suppliers, assembly processes, and classic manufacturing systems (MRP).

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations for 500+ employees.
• Develop annual plant budgets and manage P&L performance.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, and develop plant leadership and frontline teams.
• Maintain a union-free working environment.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and new product introductions.
• Oversee capacity planning to meet commitments and growth.
• Lead regional community and business engagements.
