Job summary

IRCA Group in Peterborough is seeking a Plant Controller to oversee financial and industrial controlling for the site. You will partner with the Plant Manager and Operations teams to provide financial insight, control costs, and drive profitability.

The role covers costing, inventory, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, plus ERP and reporting system optimization. Fluent English and at least five years in plant/industrial finance are required, with strong analytical and business

Qualifications

Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
Minimum 5 years in plant/industrial controlling or operations finance.
Strong costing, inventory, budgeting and variance analysis.
Advanced Excel; experience with ERP (Infor M3) and analytics.
Fluent English; strong partnering and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operations and strategy.
Monitor plant performance: costs, productivity, inventory, profitability and KPIs.
Lead plant controlling and management reporting; variance vs budget/forecast.
Coordinate month-end close for manufacturing operations.
Manage product costing, standard costs and variances.
Oversee inventory control, stock accuracy and working capital.
Support budgeting, forecasting and business cases for initiatives.
Ensure data integrity and ERP/reporting system usage.
