A leading energy provider is seeking a dedicated candidate to lead the plant computing capability for Sizewell C. This role involves building and leading a team, defining the plant computing strategy, and ensuring systems support safe operation. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of industrial control systems and experience in operational environments, particularly in nuclear settings. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Suffolk with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Reporting to the Engineering Programme Manager within Pre-Operations, you will lead the development of plant computing capability for Sizewell C. This includes building and leading the plant computing team, defining strategy, processes and standards, and ensuring systems are ready to support safe, efficient operation of the station. You will work closely with Instrumentation and Control, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Commissioning teams, representing the needs of the future operator and bringing operational thinking into every stage of delivery. This role sits at the heart of the project and will influence how plant computing maintenance, reliability and obsolescence management are planned and delivered for years to come.
You will be part of a nationally significant project with long term impact. You will have the chance to shape how a nuclear power station operates from day one, supported by experienced engineers, strong governance and access to world class training and expertise. If you are excited by the idea of building something that will last, leading people through change, and putting your mark on the future of plant computing at Sizewell C, we would love to hear from you.
