Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a proactive Plant & Asset Controller to manage movement, maintenance, compliance, and utilisation of plant, tools, and equipment across our UK operations. This field-based role collaborates with operational teams, depots, and suppliers to ensure assets are safe, compliant, and cost-effective.

You will track assets, coordinate repairs, inspections, LOER requirements, audits, and off-hire cost control, while maintaining asset records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant, fleet, asset, logistics, workshop, or operational support environments.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, inspections, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting audits and maintaining accurate records.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tracking, allocation, transfer, and recovery of plant and equipment.
• Coordinate repairs, servicing, calibrations, inspections, and LOLER requirements.
• Conduct depot audits and maintain accurate asset records.
• Monitor hired equipment and manage off-hires to control costs.
• Investigate missing, damaged, or non-compliant assets.
• Liaise with suppliers to arrange maintenance, collections, and deliveries.
• Maintain compliance documentation and asset management systems.
• Support wider Fleet and Transport operations when required.
