A local council service in Dudley is seeking a Planning Team Leader to manage a team of reactive repairs planners. This role involves collaborating with team managers to deliver a professional customer service focused on repairs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and support team members in their professional development. As part of the Housing Maintenance Team, you will contribute to improving service delivery in the borough of Dudley, ensuring an efficient response to council tenants' repair inquiries.
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Fixed Term: 12 Months
Salary: Grade 7

If you are a professional and committed person keen to support and improve the service delivery of our Housing Maintenance Team and help achieve its goals, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Housing Maintenance planning team as a Planning Team Leader.
The role involves working closely with team managers, planning, and operational staff to help manage a professional customer focused planning service within the Housing Maintenance Team.
You would be responsible for leading and managing a team of reactive repairs planners engaged in the provision of a specialised customer service function responding to repairs enquiries from council tenants to provide an efficient and effective repairs service across the borough of Dudley.
Additionally, we promote a culture of continuous professional development within the team and encourage all our team members to take advantage of learning and development opportunities to support their individual development in this position.
