Planning Performance Manager

Location: Hampshire, Sussex and Kent

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 5pm

Salary: 60-65k + Car Allowance depending candidate experience

Reports to: Operations Manager

Project Partners are working closely with specialists in repairing and maintaining wastewater networks across the South East of England. Our client is now recruiting for an experienced Planning and Performance Manager who is seeking a new permanent position covering Hampshire, Sussex and Kent.

As a Planning Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure the successful delivery of various projects. Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning oversight of clean rivers and seas workstream.
  • To manage the planning process , end to end and manage the coordinators that deliver the workstream.
  • Continuous improvement & overall responsibility of process.
  • Reporting key updates to the client in a regular, consistent and high quality fashion.
  • Key programme development and assurance through quality & resource checks.
  • Develop and lead planning & performance management throughout the workstream.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to obtain necessary information, licenses, and permits, and to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Planning and Documentation: Develop and maintain project programs to ensure productivity and efficiency stays at the correct rate and standard. This includes controlling the scheduling and work management system to unsure correct data capture and evidence.
  • Commercial Management: Collaborate with the commercial team on scoping, pricing, advising on any changes affecting cost, quality, and schedule.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Management: Work with the Customer Stakeholder Manager to plan and execute customer and stakeholder management strategies and project communications.
Experience Required:
  • Relevant experience in civil engineering is essential, with water or utility network experience being desirable.
  • Certifications: Valid Driving Licence; Health, Safety, and Environmental Management certification (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate); NEBOSH certification is desirable.
  • Excellent IT skills including reporting presentation & Analytical review

Education: Degree, HNC, or NVQ Level 6
