Overview

Title: Planning Manager

We have an exciting new role for a Planning Manager, supporting a major defence infrastructure project in the West of Scotland. You will provide leadership and management of the project’s planning team and some of your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

  • Develop project specific schedules that clearly identify the project processes and linking of activities as required for multi-functional project team interfaces.
  • Support the programme with the implementation of EVM, Cost and Resource loaded schedules.
  • Review all appropriate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and site construction project schedules and advise the Project Manager of variances to baseline.
  • Facilitate Interactive Planning (IAP) Sessions with project team and client project, ensuring risks are mitigated and opportunities escalated.
What Do We Need
  • Excellent Primavera (P6) knowledge.
  • Experience of major projects containing integrated schedules.
  • Experience in managing schedules on NEC Projects.
  • Good understanding of the various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications.
  • Good understanding of the events that initiate, and of the methods used to demonstrate, delay, or change entitlement.
Location

The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre.
