Planning Lawyer

London Borough Council – Locum Contract – Hybrid

A reputable London Borough Council is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis.

The successful locum Planning Lawyer will be required to hold a caseload of planning and highways work, including Section 106, Section 278, and planning advice. The role requires full‑time hours across five days per week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and advise on Section 106, Section 278 and other planning and highways matters
• Provide planning advice to councillors, developers and stakeholders
• Prepare and review planning applications and related documentation
• Maintain full‑time presence in the office as required

Required skills and experience:

• Qualified solicitor with experience in planning law
