Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers in London is seeking a Planning Engineer (Consultancy) to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, perform critical path analysis and forecast progress on high-value infrastructure programmes.

The role requires 2–3+ years in planning within construction or consultancy, strong Primavera P6 knowledge, NEC contract understanding and excellent stakeholder management. Hybrid working, with on-site and remote collaboration, is offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' experience in a Planning role within construction, infrastructure or consultancy environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts and programme management principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• A proactive approach and desire to build a long-term career within a leading consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Perform critical path analysis and programme reviews
• Monitor project progress and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
• Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities for mitigation
• Support project teams in developing recovery and acceleration plans
• Engage with clients, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure effective programme management
• Assist in the administration and management of NEC contract requirements
