Job summary

A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to manage major construction projects across the South East and Cheshire. This full-time and permanent role offers an OTE of £70k-£80k, alongside benefits such as Private Healthcare and Pension Contributions. Ideal candidates will have a background in Construction Planning and significant experience on large-scale projects. Security clearance is a requirement.

Qualifications

  • Deliver weekly Productivity Reports and understand Construction Planning Sequences.
  • Analyze reports to assess effects on Time Scale, Budget, and Major Projects.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planning Engineer to join a main contractor who specialises in major construction projects, maintenance, and asset management services to the energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors.

Our client is looking for a Planning Engineer to join them working across multiple projects in the South East and Cheshire the projects are Major Construction Projects.

Key responsibilities for this Planning Engineer role :
  • Work in partnership with the Commercial Manager to deliver Critical Analysis Reports
  • Delivering weekly Productivity Reports having a good understanding of Construction Planning Sequences on major projects
  • Taking into consideration Critical Analysis Reports, Estimations and Productivity Reports to understand the effect on the Time Scale, Budget and over all impact on Major Projects
Requirements for this Planning Engineer role :
  • Experience in Construction Planning (Nuclear / MOD preferred)
  • Candidates must be Security Cleared
  • Experience working on major projects over (100m)-preferred
  • Experience with Primavera (p6) Microsoft Project
