Job summary

Tradeline Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Planning Director at a leading architectural consultancy with 25+ years of market presence. You will work with the Board to define strategic business plans, oversee planning projects from inception through delivery, manage the planning team, and ensure profitability and client satisfaction across projects.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of UK planning law, BIM/BREEAM standards, and hands-on use of AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

Experience leading planning teams and projects at a senior level.
Strong knowledge of UK planning laws and building regulations.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and related planning software.
Budgeting, financial planning and profitable project delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders and regulators.

Responsibilities

Set business strategies with the Board and align planning operations with objectives.
Oversee financials: budgeting, invoicing and expenditure control.
Lead planning teams and ensure high-quality outputs and client satisfaction.
Engage with clients, authorities and regulators to secure permissions.
Ensure compliance with BIM, BREEAM and regulatory standards.
