A leading engineering firm is seeking a Planning and Consenting Manager in Glasgow. The role involves managing day-to-day planning and consenting operations, ensuring compliance with UK regulations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant field and experience with major infrastructure projects. This hybrid role requires effective stakeholder management and project oversight, aligning with programme objectives.

The Planning and Consenting Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all day-to-day aspects of planning and consenting for the Programme, covering both terrestrial and marine environments.
The role will ensure the timely preparation, submission, and determination of all necessary planning applications, marine licences, consents, and exemptions required for programme delivery.
You will work collaboratively with client-side teams, technical services, and design and construction partners to ensure that all planning and consenting activities are strategically coordinated, compliant with relevant legislation, and aligned with programme objectives.
This includes providing expert advice on town planning, marine licensing, and environmental permitting requirements to ensure full regulatory compliance and schedule efficiency.
The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre.
