Overview
Quest Global is a fast‑growing engineering services firm with deep domain knowledge across seven industries. The scheduler or planner will work directly under the head of project management and collaborate with programme managers and business functions to create, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with programme managers and internal departments to understand the structure, sequence, and relationships of projects and programme schedules.
- Develop schedules that accurately reflect the sequence of activities, durations, resources, and critical paths to deliver projects and programmes.
- Control configuration of project baseline schedules.
- Maintain plans: update progress, record actual durations, and adjust sequencing as required.
- Evaluate schedule performance to identify deviations, conflicts, and potential delays.
- Report schedule performance to project and programme managers, along with potential corrective actions.
- Manage integration of schedules for linked projects and programmes.
Required Skills
- Proven work experience as a project scheduler on complex projects.
- Effective planning, monitoring, and reviewing skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software, preferably MS Project.
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP is highly beneficial.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/masters degree or equivalent in business management or a related field.
- Certification as a scheduling professional (e.g., PMI‑SP) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence interacting with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills: multi‑tasking, time management, planning.
- Capability to build and maintain effective relationships throughout the business and stakeholder community.
- Good analytical skills and ability to draw sound conclusions.
- Adaptability to adjust thought processes and plans when situations change.
- Computer literate with use of Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
