SRM is preparing for the commencement of a major programme of construction works in Port Talbot, South Wales. The works will involve heavy construction and civil engineering across various industrial work fronts over the next 3 to 4 years, starting with enabling works ahead of the main programme which is scheduled to commence in Q3 2025.

We are looking for an experienced Package Manager to join our team and manage an interesting, complex, and technically challenging project with a value exceeding £200 million, undertaken under an NEC contract.

The Planner role

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing, maintaining and managing all programme and related time‑and‑production‑control deliverables.
  • Effectively communicating the project's planning roadmap and performance measures to key stakeholders.
  • Questioning the project to ensure delivery is in line with all company, regional and business targets.
Your profile

You'll have:

  • Knowledge of Power‑plan project planning software is essential; experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is useful or desirable.
  • Extensive experience managing planning on large multi‑million‑pound projects, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • A passion for innovating and driving planning initiatives.
  • Experience working on bids.
