A leading energy services company in Greater London is seeking a Planner to manage the planning and programming process for infrastructure projects. The role includes coordinating project timelines, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, and maintaining relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Primavera P6 software and a degree in engineering. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and a hybrid working model after the probation period.
This Planner role will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and will work within UK Power Networks Services – Engineering based in our Elephant & Castle, London office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £65 241 pa plus Inner London Allowance and a bonus of 3%. This role can also offer optional blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

The Planner role is to support the Design team with managing the planning and programming process to meet our clients' programmes goals, including the provision of information and support on programme matters to the Pricing, Design, Engineering and construction teams.
Analyse planning and control requirements for the programme of works, making recommendations on the most appropriate use of the planning package. Support current with tender programmes, cost and resource loaded, business and client reporting requirements.
Work with the Design team to develop alternative proposals that satisfy the requirements of the programme of works. Offer advantages to the UKPN Services teams regarding competitive position and deliver the Programme of works to time and within the defined budget. Ensure risk mitigation and reduction through sound delivery / construction planning techniques and practices.
