Post: Permanent, Start December 2025

A principal contractor with an established name within construction in London is looking to appoint a Planner. They deliver high‑quality services in demolition, structural alterations, concrete structures, piling and temporary works covering multiple sectors such as residential, hospitality, commercial and heritage. As a Planner, your role will be to support the business on both pre‑construction and live projects. Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation and create programmes to support tender bids.
• Create an integrated design, procurement & construction programme with each Project Lead/Team for each live project.
• Regularly review, maintain and update programmes to ensure focus on correct activities for successful delivery on time.
• Monitor live projects against baselined programmes, create drop‑line programmes and assist in formulating Extension of Time claims where required.
• Identify programme risks and problem‑solve.
• Audit progress on site as and when required to assist the Project Lead/Team.

Experience Required

• Proficient in using Asta Powerproject.
• Understanding of construction techniques, logistics, methodology and sequencing.
• Experience in demolition, temporary works, enabling works, piling, groundworks, basement construction, concrete structures, structural steelwork and dangerous structures.
• Knowledge of the planning requirements of different forms of construction contracts.
• Understanding of the residential sector with focus on new‑build residential and conversion of office to residential on projects between £5m‑£15m.
• Appreciation of cost impact in the compilation of a programme.
