Planned Maintenance Surveyor – South West (Home‑Based)

We’re looking for a Planned Maintenance Surveyor to join our growing team, managing a programme of work worth around £8m annually. You’ll help ensure our live-in homes are safe, comfortable and in excellent condition.

About the Church of England Pensions Board: The Church of England Pensions Board is a registered charity and one of the Church Institutions (NCIs). We support the Church’s mission through financial and housing services, providing pension schemes, housing and charitable grants to over 30,000 clergy, church workers and their families. Within our Housing Department we offer a range of housing options to support clergy in retirement, including over 1,200 rental properties and community living schemes across seven locations.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver planned maintenance projects including external repairs, internal refurbishments and energy‑saving upgrades.
  • Manage major works at sheltered housing schemes.
  • Work closely with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Survey properties and develop specifications and forward works programmes.

Location

Home‑based in the South West. Travel across England and Wales is required, with some visits to our London office.

Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Car Allowance: £3,600 per annum
