Qualifications

Job description
About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Heating Engineer to join our West Local Delivery Team. This role will ensure that repairs, servicing and breakdowns are carried out, providing a timely, efficient, and high standard of work to our properties. This is a key role in ensuring that our homes are maintained to a high standard, for us to provide an excellent service to our tenants and to ensure that we fulfil our legal obligations. Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Planned Asset, Operations Directorate, ensuring that the Association's properties are maintained to the required standard.
  • Complete the planned heating installations of gas, oil and renewable systems. Ensure new boilers and system installations are carried out efficiently and effectively and to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Ensure installations are carried out in accordance with the Association procedures and the latest regulations.
  • Manage and prioritise your workload on a day‑to‑day basis with regards to the planned programme and day‑to‑day scheduled work.
  • Carry out reactive works and provide support when needed.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified Heating Engineer with certifications such as CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, UVHWS and EEDH, and Gas Safe Registered.
  • Experience working within social housing and renewable heating systems, including ASHP, Solar Thermal, HR, and MVHR accredited qualifications to BPEC level or equivalent.
  • IT literate with good literacy and numeracy skills, excellent communication abilities, a driving licence and DBS check (essential).
