Cummins Inc. is seeking a Placement Student – Trade Compliance Analyst to join the Logistics team for a 12-month placement in Daventry, Huddersfield, or Darlington.

The role offers exposure to a major global organization and a chance to learn how trade compliance operates within a corporate setting. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Business/Logistics/Statistics degree, with strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and the option to leverage Power BI.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a degree in Business/Logistics/Statistics or related field.
• Strong IT skills with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus.
• Experience in supply chain is beneficial but not required; German or Dutch language skills are a plus but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Financial reporting and tracking of spend and project savings.
• Managing, improving and maintaining duty management systems.
• Collaborating with Customs brokers and suppliers to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Support in Major Cross Business Unit projects and internal audit.
• Ensure data integrity of analytics and develop reporting for supply chain KPIs.
• Analyze KPIs to identify improvements and action plans.

Placement Student – Trade Compliance Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic Trade Compliance Analyst Placement Student to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate/CBS segment in either Daventry, Huddersfield, or Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Financial reporting and tracking of spend and project savings.
• Managing, improving and maintaining duty management systems.
• Working with Customs brokers and suppliers to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Involvement and support in all Major Cross Business Unit projects; Internal audit.
• Ensuring data integrity of all analytics and reports, development of reporting capabilities for supply chain KPIs.
• Analysis and interpretation of KPIs to identify areas for improvement and action plans.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Working towards a degree in Business/Logistics/Statistics related area.
• Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI beneficial).
• Previous experience in a supply chain role would be beneficial but is not required; fluent in German or Dutch would be beneficial but is not required.
• Ability to understand data, solve problems and think innovatively; works well as part of a team with the ability to manage workload effectively.
