Job summary

Cummins Turbo Technologies is seeking a motivated engineering student in the UK to assist with turbo approval coordination for new product introductions and line approvals. The role offers the chance to work independently and within a team to support critical tasks and projects.

You will apply problem solving skills to improve processes, represent the company to customers and colleagues, and show ambition, flexibility and a willingness to learn within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • Ambition, flexibility, creativity and a desire to learn and take on responsibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience within a Manufacturing or Quality environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordination of turbo approval activities for new product introduction and line approvals.
  • Work independently and in a team to support key tasks and projects.

Job description

  • Assisting with the coordination of turbo approval activities for new product introduction - Line Approval process and handling of product
  • Working both independently and within a team to support key tasks and projects

  • Representing and promoting Cummins Turbo Technologies to the customer, internally and externally
    Working towards a degree in an appropriate Mechanical or Automotive Engineering discipline
  • Ambition, flexibility, creativity and a desire to learn and take on responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time managements skills
  • Previous experience within a Manufacturing or Quality environment would be advantageous
