Job summary

Places for People Group, through Places Leisure, is hiring a Reception and Sales colleague (Placemaker) to join a busy, friendly team. You will deliver excellent customer service, welcome members and visitors, promote memberships, and help create a positive first impression in a lively environment.

The role requires previous sales and customer service experience, the ability to multi-task and handle daily operations, and a flexible approach to shifts including early starts and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales and customer service environment is essential.
• Able to multi-task and manage daily operational tasks with strong execution and confidence.
• Advocate for the benefits of physical activity and contribute to our mission of creating active places and healthy people.
• Able to use sales tools and techniques documented by Places Leisure membership management.
• Sales focused and target driven.
• Passion for delivering first class customer service and dealing with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for prospective and existing members.
• Build personable relationships with customers in a unique and relevant way.
• Promote Places Leisure memberships and services to drive engagement and sales.
• Assist with daily reception and operational tasks in a busy leisure setting.
• Be flexible with shifts, including early starts and peak periods (Eid, Christmas, Ramadan).
