Job summary

The Winemaker's Pub in Goudhurst is seeking a skilled Pizza Chef to join our busy pub kitchen, delivering high-quality pizzas using fresh ingredients. You’ll manage dough prep, toppings, and mise en place, and work closely with the Head Chef to maintain hygiene and consistency.

We offer £13.25 per hour plus TRONC with flexible hours to suit your work/life balance, making this a great fit for dedicated team players in a lively English pub setting.

Qualifications

• Experience making pizzas in a professional kitchen (stone oven or deck oven ideal).
• Strong understanding of dough, temperature control and cooking times.
• Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services.
• Reliable, good communication and teamwork in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, stretching, and cooking high-quality pizzas to order.
• Managing dough prep, toppings, and mise en place.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
• Helping with general kitchen duties during busy periods.
• Ensuring consistency, speed, and quality during service.
