Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and supervise a team of tradesmen to execute piping installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
  • Coordinate with project management to develop work plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor progress, identify any issues or obstacles, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to tradesmen, resolving any technical issues that may arise during the project.
  • Maintain accurate records of work activities, including daily reports, timesheets, and material usage.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in piping supervision within industrial settings, preferably in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting, CCSNG Supervisor card) preferred.
  • Ability to work at heights and work in confined spaces
